I have so many updates from the past month or so (JoJo, Grant, Katie Love's visit, and all sorts of other fun stuff). But today is Easter. So I thought I'd update you on all of my happenings today.
When I woke up, daddy read me some stories about Jesus which was pretty neat (really, I listened to every word to the surprise of daddy) and then daddy tried to explain how the Easter Bunny tied in to it all. I didn't 100% fully comprehend the Easter Bunny connection (nor am I sure I ever will), however, I did 100% comprehend that the Easter Bunny left me some eggs with treats inside of them.
I then proceeded to find all the eggs the Easter Bunny left me.
The Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance at the community Easter egg hunt.
I was so excited to see him that I accidentally jumped into a photo that this little girl's mommy was trying to take. So now for the next 10 years, every time the family is looking reminscining about their 2011 Easter experience, they'll say, "Now who was that little blonde girl who jumped in the photo?"
Sorry about that!
Although I guess mommy and daddy will be saying the same thing about that little girl. Hmmm. Isn't it ironic? Dontcha think?
While I was playing on the swing set at the Easter egg hunt, I called mommy over to give her a kiss. Daddy captured the moment on digital film. I may fuss a lot these days, but I can actually pour on the sweet sometimes too.
Mommy and daddy took me to a community Easter egg hunt. While there, I learned very valuable lessons, like how to hunt for Easter eggs. I can't wait to apply these leasons on Easter, when I hunt for eggs for real!
If I had to pick one singular favorite candy, after much deliberation and careful consideration, I'd have to go with M&M's.
So I was very happy when mommy took me to M&M world on the Strip. I met M&M's. I ate M&M's. I hugged M&M's. It was as close to a perfect day as a little girl like me could have.
